Monash Science Centre

Mission

To enable the general public, especially primary and secondary school children, to have direct contact with research scientists on a day to day basis. The purpose is to encourage an understanding of scientific research and scientific method, to excite people about science, to show how scientific thinking is a useful way of understanding the complex world in which we live and to encourage a nurturing of that world. In this way future generations will have an improved and sustainable environment in which to live. To ignite and encourage curiosity as a way of helping people better understand, appreciate and thoroughly enjoy what is around them.
