A collaboration between ASPAC members China Science and Technology Museum and Science Centre Singapore, formalised through a "Science and Culture Integration" cooperation agreement signed in November 2023. This strategic alliance focuses on integrated exhibition-education-research development, with both institutions jointly conducting the "Cross-national Collaborative Development and Evaluation Research of Basic Science Themed Exhibits and Supporting Educational Activities in Science Museums" project. The partnership has facilitated comprehensive staff exchanges. Through rigorous testing and evaluation of similar exhibits across both institutions, the collaborative teams have successfully developed six preliminary conceptual exhibit designs focused on enhancing visitor experience and inquiry-based learning, whilst establishing standardised testing methodologies and evaluation frameworks for measuring curiosity stimulation in young visitors. This collaboration establishes a comprehensive "exhibit design - educational activity development - evaluation - research" model that will benefit science museums throughout the Asia-Pacific region, advancing evidence-based approaches to science communication and public engagement.
