GlobalSCAPE: A Global Picture of Science Communication around the world

Updated: Jan 31, 2023

Dear ASPAC family,

Interested to know the state of science communication around the world?

For the past two years, our sister European network, ECSITE, has been working on the EU project GlobalSCAPE, led by Trinity College Dublin, whose aim is to gather a global picture of science communication in the world, looking past Europe and including lesser-heard voices.

GlobalSCAPE is coming to an end, and the final event will be a time to present the results and learnings from the project, as well as reflect on the future of science communication in Europe and the world. Participation is free of charge, but registration is compulsory for both on-site and online attendance.

GlobalSCAPE final event "Science communication in the world: what’s next?", taking place on the 3 February 2023, from 9:00 to 15:00 (CET), in Brussels and simultaneously live-streamed.

The event will be recorded, and videos of the sessions with subtitles in several languages (incl. English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Japanese and Mandarin) will be published a few weeks after the event.

More information about the programme and registration is available on the GlobalSCAPE website. Additional platforms are below:
