One month to go before ASPAC Brisbane!


Dear ASPAC family,


We are excited to see you in ASPAC Brisbane!

Below are a few reminders as you prepare for the conference:


Registration:

Become a Conference Chairperson:

We have an exciting opportunity available foryou to become a chairperson for one of our sessions, if you are interested, please email the ASPAC Queensland team. 


SparkLab:

ASPAC delegates will have free access to the Queensland Museum’s  SparkLab throughout the conference. Explore 40 interactive exhibits across three zones and discover how science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) affects your everyday world. See live experiments at the Science Bar and get hands on at the Maker Space, designing and creating a solution to a challenging question. For more details click here to visit the SparkLab website.

Conference Dinner:

Delegates will get exclusive access to NASA, A Human Adventure, before networking drinks, speeches and a cultural performance by Nunukul Yuggera Aboriginal Dancers. A two-course sit down dinner will be served in amongst the extraordinary exhibitions.


Post Conference Tours

While in Brisbane, take the opportunity to have a break and visit meet some ofthe locals! Our post conference tour program includes visits to:


Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Interact with 100s of species of Australian animals, with hands-on experiences and presentations. Hand-feed kangaroos and wild lorikeets, or hold a koala. Unwind with a coffee in the 'Koala Forest', surrounded by 30 koalas, or enjoy an Australian outback farm experience at the daily Sheepdog Show, performed by experienced and award-winning sheepdog handlers and their loyal dogs.


Tangalooma Premium Dolphin Feeding Day Cruise Spend the day exploring and discovering the natural wildlife and environment of Moreton Island, before finishing off with the highlight – hand feeding our family of wild dolphins. Watch them speed into the shallows each night, where they play together and entertain until it’s time to be fed. Each one has its own special nature and you’ll learn from the experts about their quirky ways.
